Project Management: Where Principals Get Involved
Our principals aren't up in some high-profile corner office—they are directly involved in every project. The principal-in-charge facilitates communication and collaboration in our engineering and design team meetings on a weekly basis. So you can be sure that your project is on track, within budget, and on time.
Design/Contract Documents
From straight forward projects to those requiring the most complex and challenging solutions; we excel at providing quality driven design and construction documents. We work in partnership with our clients to provide trusted design solutions that work. We maintain an excellent line of communication between the owner, user, architect, and contractors. This interactive process creates design projects that work to meet our client’s needs.
Commissioning
As mechanical/electrical systems have become more complicated, building owners and operators increasingly find it difficult to properly operate and maintain these sophisticated systems. The Commissioning process helps to alleviate operational issues before they become a problem. In response to that need, we are committed to providing the Mid-Atlantic’s best Commissioning Services. We are fully certified by the Building Commissioning Association and strongly believe in the process outlined by the BCA.
LEED Certified Design
The LEED Certification Program was designed to decrease a building’s impact on the environment, increase energy efficiency, save our natural resources, increase comfort, and improve productivity within the built environment. Kibart has LEED Accredited Engineers on staff working daily on LEED projects, performing energy calculations, designing renewable energy systems, reducing water consumption, and preparing LEED related documents. We stand ready to take on the most challenging LEED project.
Cost Estimating/Construction Administration
Kibart has proven expertise, with our in-house construction cost estimating and construction administration staff. We stay in tune with fluctuating material markets, escalating construction costs, and associated business cycles. We routinely provide periodic estimates during various phases of design. We also review Contractor’s bids, provide construction management, field engineering services, evaluation and documentation of change requests, preparation and/or review of contractor’s schedules, attend progress meetings and perform on-site inspections.
Scheduling:
Keeping Projects on Time
Meeting deadlines can be a challenge in any industry.
Our project managers meet the challenge with careful
planning, detailed schedules, and ongoing communications
with client and contractor. This comprehensive approach
ensures efficient production without sacrificing performance
requirements.
Quality Control: Above and Beyond
Our principals insist on continuous improvement to meet or exceed all customer requirements and expectations. Quality control begins at Kibart by hiring only the most talented employees and then providing continuous training of those employees. We listen to our customers—ensuring that all expectations are understood and fulfilled. In-house peer review minimizes unexpected cost over-runs and start-up difficulties. This customer-focused approach is good for business and is attributed to our large portfolio of successful projects and repeat work.
Satisfied
Customers: A Job Well Done

record of construction projects with minimal change
order requests testify to the effectiveness of our
