GenVec, Inc., is a biopharmaceutical company developing novel gene-based therapeutic drugs and vaccines. This project included full service M/E/P budgeting, design, bidding, and construction administration services for a new 38,000 SF Bio-tech Research and Development Laboratory and AALAC approved animal facility.

• Dedicated animal area chiller and air distribution system
• RO/DI purified water
• Specialty lab gases such as LN2, N2, AR, CO
• Laboratory grade oil-free compressed air
• Bio-technological grade vacuum pumps
• Potable/non-potable gas domestic water heating
• New 3000A, 480 volt service and complete new distribution system
• Emergency power system
• Surge suppression panels
• Fully addressable fire alarm system
• Voice/data cabling system
• Emergency power
