Mechanical Project Manager / Engineer
- Demonstrated knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems design, particularly central plant systems, chillers, boilers, central station air handlers, geothermal exchange, etc. for large institutional facilities, including Universities, Research and Development Labs, and Health Care
- Desire to advance career with a solid and progressive firm
- Energetic, outgoing and possesses desire to learn from experienced professionals
- Demonstrated ability to solve difficult challenges
- Working knowledge and experience in AutoCadd or Revit
- Provide technical direction, oversee support staff, and proven ability to work directly with clients and staff
- Must be organized, efficient, and able to communicate effectively with clients and peers, both written and oral
Duties
- Prepare design documents, AutoCadd drawings, specs, reports and cost estimates, etc.
- Coordinate with clients, owners, consultants, and support staff
- Organize and review shop drawing submittals, perform on-site field investigation, construction inspections, etc.
Commissioning Project Manager / Engineer
- Excellent writing skills for use in writing meeting minutes, test procedures, reports, and HVAC control sequences
- Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Project, and Powerpoint
- Strong people skills to interact with contractors, clients, engineers, and architects
- Able to work both independently and with a team
- Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. and climb ladders when necessary
- Must have reliable transportation and may be required to drive several hours to a jobsite
- Experience with testing equipment such as air flow hoods, temperature sensors, CO2 sensors, etc.
- Experience in HVAC design and design review
- Construction Administrative experience, able to review equipment submittals, solve problems, etc.
Requirements
- BSME, with a minimum of 8 years experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC controls systems (actual programming and field experience)
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC equipment and associated systems including air handling units, boilers, chillers, packaged systems, etc.
Electrical Project Manager / Engineer
- Strong experience in design of emergency/UPS systems, data centers and laboratories desired
- Desire to work with challenging projects and clients
- Ability to profitably manage multiple projects, including fast track designs
- Strong people skills
- Ability to provide accurate and detailed cost estimates
- Familiar with power company requirements and new service designs
- Experience with running meetings, field inspections, and similar construction phase activities
- Must be able to provide clear communication, written reports, etc.
Requirements
- Candidate should have specific in-the-industry experience in design building electrical systems (minimum of 5 years PM experience)
- BSEE or similar degree required
- PE license or likely to achieve in near future
